Chlorella
Our green and whole food blend is a combination of foods with powerful health benefits in many areas. The whole foods in this list, especially chlorella, and spirulina, contain an amazing amount of nutrition for their size.
Chlorella is a single-cell algae that is remarkably high in protein, fat, carbohydrates, and vitamins. Part of the reason for its efficiency is its small size, and very little of the harvested mass goes to waste. Chlorella was developed as a food source in the 1950s when it became apparent that the world’s population was growing dramatically. In the belief that we would run out of food, Chlorella was seen as an efficient help to feed the growing population.
